I was shocked to find that they let cows in their library.

I guess anything goes there!  They even let me go behind the librarians desk.

Busloads of students came to visit me at the Anamosa Public Library.

It was a packed story time.  Just the way I like it.

Hmmm, more livestock in the library. 

But then again, if frogs have rights, so should barnyard animals.

We’re getting closer and closer to the holidays.

That means you should try to be good to your brothers and sisters!

With a fabulous poster like this, I think all the Lake City kids are good.

What a fabulous welcome to the city of Lewis and their Owl Barn!

That’s right, I said Owl Barn.

Why do they call it the Owl Barn?  It’s filled with owls, of course!

Finally, all my journeys ended up at the Waucoma Public Library.

Yet, another library filled with creatures…

And old high schools friends!

Dan’s Wise Advice of the Day:  If you are standing with a bucket of mud in an elevator full of business people wearing suits, hold tight onto that bucket!

I also read some stories to the spooks at South Hamilton Elementary.

No leopards or spooks at the Eldora Public Library though.

Their library is a huge castle!

I met two gallant knights with purple shields.

And I even met the king and queen of the library!

At the Lisbon Public Library they celebrate Halloween all year round!

The librarians are always wearing costumes.

And what an honor, the Lisbon football players asked me to join their team!

Dan’s Wise Advice of the Day:  Gorillas simply will not wear a pink bow in their hair, so don’t even bother trying!

Lobsters are quicker than they look and they are always looking for revenge.  Never wrong a lobster.

Lots of my fans and neighbors showed up to celebrate.

And lots of my friends showed up to surprise me too!

Now it is time to set sail for my next stop: the Iowa State Fair.
