The Evil Lord Sucker.

This morning at the Keokuk Public Library the kids arrived by the busload!

They love to listen to good stories there!

And they all sign up for the summer reading program.

42 cities into the Reading Road Trip and my Hypno-Shark is still holding up!

So is the Boomerang Barracuda.

My story time this afternoon was at the Burlington Public Library. Debbie Wagenbach, world famous author of The Grouchies, even showed up for the story.

The Bus and the Butterfly!

Today a busload of kids showed upto story time at the Keokuk Public Library!

I didn’t realize how many kids can fit in a bus!

I also didn’t realize that I would get stucktrying to squeeze through that square hole I found!

Luckily, I grabbed hold of a giant butterfly and was pulled through!

It took me on a fantastic voyage to the planet of the rainbow shirt people!

When I returned, the library was exactly as I left -filled with kids that love to [...]

If I Ran the Library!

Today my friends at the Keokuk Public Library let me help check out some books!

And that got me thinking…What if I ran the library?First, all the books in all the libraries would be really big!

Next, I would redesign all the libraries to look like castles!

Arthur and Lionel from Between the Lions would be in charge of all the libraries!

And every kid would be brave enough to be an official library detective!
