This weekend I went ice bowling!

I went ice fishing!

I even learned that the best way to enjoy an aquariumis to press your face directly to the glass!

That’s because my good friend John Sutter invited me to Ice Festat the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium!

Curious George was there too…

And over 1,300 of our closest friends!

As Sophie the Tiger says, “It was Grrrrreat!”

Then yesterday I had a blast at the Science Center of Iowa!

This week I was able to learn a few new skills, such as tractor driving!

I also tried my hand at pumpkin stacking!

Face painting was another thing I attempted, although I’m not very good!

I discovered I’m much better at pretending to be a doctor!

I gained an appreciation for fine art at the Ames Christian School!

Jeff from the Slater Public Library helped a frog and me learn how to play chess!

And the greatest skill I learned? How to apprehend ared-haired cookie [...]

Yesterday, Arla the Cresco Public Librarian read me the book “Fred Stays With Me”and I had to figure out who Fred was. He wasn’t this gorilla.

It wasn’t Captain Smiley, the local train conductor.

It turns out Fred wasn’t a racoon either. Wait, what’s that smell? IT’S FRED! He’s a skunk!

Dan’s Wise Advice of the Day:Couch potatoes are very lazy, but couch squids are even more lazy!

It’s been a busy few weeks! I milked a cow at Heartland Acres!

I took a ride on Thomas the Train!

Clifford and I had a blast at the Clay County Fair!

I saved a giant snapping turtle crossing the road!

Although the Washington Public Library picnic basket was full of books,I guess I was not supposed to eat any!

Why am I always the last to know these things?

Despite the book eating incident, after story timeI was inducted into the spider hall of fame!

And received a surprise induction into the bee hall of fame!

Yes, I was even inducted into this hall of fame! I’m not surewhat hall of fame it was, but it was certainly an honor!
