I Spy a Big Blue Dog!

Look who was waiting for me at the Ames Bandshell this morning!

Smyles wasn’t the only one looking for a story. Lots of patrons from the Ames Public Library were there, too!

I was asked to join in a synchronized musical performance on the stage!

And, afterwards, I even was able to enjoy the park for a bit!

My next stop was the Clive Public Library!

Steve, one of my co-workers, was there to shoot some video of the adventures we were having!

Some friends asked [...]

Don’t Touch that Fruit!

If you had trouble finding a parking spot next to the Ames Public Library today, this is the reason why!

The citizens of Ames love story time and they also love participating in the summer reading program!

After performing in front of such big crowds, I knew it was “time” for a quick break.

That’s right, it was time to kick back and have a story told to me by Smyles the library dog!

However, I couldn’t sit back and relax for long because [...]

A Day Filled with Music!

Hula dancing is how they start the morning off right in Boone.

Personally, I like to start the morning off right by rocking out!

It was strange doing story time indoors in the morning…

And doing story time outdoors in the afternoon.

The crowds were so big at the Ames Public Library that I had to do story time in the bandshell!

Lots of folks stopped by to listen, some people who were even walking their dogs!

Luckily, we had an extra super-hero available to handle crowd control.

For an [...]
