This afternoon I wasn’t sure if things were real or imaginary at the Iowa Falls Public Library. Was this a real or imaginary penguin?
Was this a real or imaginary tiger?
Was this a real or imaginary grandma?
One thing was for certain: all the fun we had was REAL!
The Algona Public Library reminded me of one very important water fact! There has been no rain on my trip for at least two days!

We welcomed crowds at the Fort Dodge Public Library this morning with open arms.
They love me so much there they decided to paint my portrait. I’m not so sure about my painters though…
The town insisted I stay until I told them the secret password.
Later, at the Algona Public Library, they rolled out the red carpet for me.
We even had an ice cream social… on my head!
I was honored to have an autobiography written about me there too. The book was appropriately entitled, “Funny Faces.”

Yesterday morning I thought I was doing story timejust for the patrons of the Fort Dodge Public Library!
But it turns out there was a fellow superhero watching!
Superheroes come in all shapes, sizes, and hats!
Superheroes sometimes also have fancy costumes!
And sometimes they like to conceal their real identity!
Later, at the Algona Public LibraryI ran into yet another superhero!
I also met a superhero sidekick, Caterpillar Girl!
But my favorite superheroes are kids everywherewho love to read and love to use their imagination!

Yesterday began just the way I like it - reading the Fort Dodge newspaper!
However, my visit to Fort Dodge quickly turned strangeas I was greeted by their giant friendly crabs!(The crabs are the ones in red.)
The citizens of Fort Dodge decided they liked my story time so much thatthey were going to wrap me up in tape and keep me there!
Luckily, Librarian Laurie saved me!
My next stop was Algona, where the library is always rocking!
