As we approach the end of the 2014 Reading Road Trip, it’s time to start thanking everybody who has taken a “leap of faith” by attending story time!

All of the librarians, including the ones from today’s stop at the Robert W. Barlow Memorial Library in Iowa Falls, have been as sweet as honey to me.

With this summer’s “Fizz! Boom! Read!” theme, kids everywhere have developed a new appreciation for science and learning at the library!

Tomorrow, my travels around the state come to a close with a visit to Iowa City. After that, I might just take the Reading Road Trip to the next level and begin performing story times at cultural landmarks across the globe.
