My Amazing Super-Shoes!
You’re never too young to enjoy a good book.
In fact, you don’t even need to be human to enjoy a good book. Dogs, even the young puppies, are always welcome at the Mediapolis Public Library.
The conspiracy theorists are allowed in too, even if they are wearing their tin foil or beach ball hats.
I borrowed one of their summer reading prize bikes to zip on up to my next stop: Muscatine. Do you think I took pink or green?
To thank me for having story time at the Musser Public Library, I was given the biggest card I’ve ever received.
I was also given a brand new golden pair of super-shoes.
And, wow, are they indeed SUPER!
They make me run FAST.
The Reading Road Trip has been amazing so far. It’s great to go to places where you’re loved.

Just discovered your blog. What a hoot! I’m a retired middle school English teacher, so all of your efforts to get children excited about reading are much appreciated. Keep up the good work, which shouldn’t be too difficult with those spiffy new golden winged shoes!
