Oooooooh! Shiny!
I had the honor of performing in front of huge crowds today, especially in Ankeny!
The Ankeny Public Library always has a way of drawing in the kids. It is probably because they have lots of prizes you can sign up for during their summer reading program.
One of their grand prizes is even lunch and story time with me!
I know who I would really love to have lunch with someday. That’s right, my friends Sherry and Kelly!
I was the one to receive a summer reading prize later this afternoon when I was at the Colfax Public Library. It was a gift of world famous art from a world famous artist.
Story time wasn’t actually at the library, but at the church across the street. Luckily, the librarians brought plenty of books to check out.
My friends in Colfax gave me the biggest, most shiny card I’ve ever received!
Talk about bling-bling.
Week two of the Reading Road Trip is now over, but fear not, the sharks will be back next week.
So will all the zany fun.

We had fun listening and participating in Dan’s story about pirates and finding treasures! They were able to finish what your amazing saying is about shutting off the tv go outside and play use your imagination and read a good book! We needed a reminder of all those things! We love Dan and IPTV!
