Beach Ball Distribution is Fun for All!
As I pulled into my first library this morning the sign read “Welcome to Murray!”
The Murray Public Library loves Iowa Public Television’s kid shows!
Who ever said small libraries can’t draw big crowds?
Sometimes small libraries are the best place to catch big fun.
In the afternoon we met a world famous pirate bookworm at the Garrett Memorial Library.
Pirate bookworms guard treasure of course!
And as you can see, treasure hunting can include anvils, capes, and minotaurs charging towards you!
Great fun today, but the most fun part of my travels is helping kids sign up for library cards. Abraham Lincoln would be proud.

Thanks for coming to Murray, we had a great time! We hope you did too. We love the pictures, we really enjoyed the pirate stories. Our favorites were the minataur helmet and Medusa hat! Have a good summer, hope to see you again soon.
